Three years of legal cover

Every product carries the legal guarantee of conformity. Spanish law, which governs our sales, sets it at three years from delivery for new goods. Across the EU the minimum is two years, and if the law where you live is more generous on any point, that protection stays with you.

During the first two years, a fault is assumed to have existed at delivery unless we can prove otherwise. In the third year, a clear account of what went wrong and when helps us settle the claim quickly.

What counts as a fault

• A vacuum or mop battery that no longer charges, or a motor that stops
• A steam cleaner that will not heat or build pressure
• A heater that fails to warm, or whose thermostat or timer stops working
• A safety cut-out that trips without reason, or fails to trip when it should
• A dryer whose fan or heating stops running

The remedy is a repair or a replacement. If neither is possible, or it would take too long, you can choose a price reduction or a full refund.

What is not covered

• Damage from a drop, from water getting into the electrics, or from the wrong voltage
• Parts that wear with use, such as mop pads, brush heads and filters
• Scale in a steam cleaner that has not been descaled as the manual describes
• Faults caused by someone else’s repair or modification
• Cosmetic marks that do not affect use and were not reported within 48 hours of delivery

How to claim

1. Email support@tyrnix.com with your order number.
2. Describe what the product does now, and add a photo or short video if the fault is visible.
3. We tell you the next step and, if the product needs to come back, book the collection at our expense.

Safety with the heaters

• Plug a heater straight into a wall socket, never into an extension lead or a multi-way adapter.
• Keep at least a metre of clear space in front of it, away from curtains, bedding and furniture.
• Never cover a heater or dry clothes on it, and do not use it in a bathroom.
• Switch it off when you leave the room or go to sleep, unless you have set the timer.
• Keep children and pets away from the front while it is hot.

Safety with steam and the dryer

• Steam burns: never point the nozzle at people, pets or electrical sockets.
• Let the steam cleaner cool and release its pressure fully before opening the tank.
• Try steam on a hidden corner first; some wood, laminate and delicate fabrics do not tolerate it.
• Use the clothes dryer on a stable floor with space around the base, and follow the fabric care labels.
